A nice clean and relaxing atmosphere, family style restaurant. Nice variety of food on the menu. Friendly and efficient staff, and reasonable prices.

My friend ordered a chicken sandwhich, which had very little seasoning, and the bun seemed stale. The tomato seemed past its prime, as did the lettuce. That flaw we could get past, however the curly fries she got with it were soggy, also not seasoned. I've never had fries that were freshly made that were as hard to get down.I ordered a French toast which was loaded with cream cheese, and preserved strawberries, with a topping of whip cream. The concept is excellent, but akin to the chicken sandwich and curly fry experience, the French toast batter didn't have a taste of any seasonings. I love supporting local businesses, however for the price of this food, it should feel like a "treat". The atmosphere was good, and our waitress was very accomadating. Menu diversity is good, and I would love to try again if the recipes changed.

We love breakfast at the Sandstone Cafe. The coffee is great diner coffee. I usually get the breakfast salad, sauteed veggies topped with a fried egg. Today I ordered a tomato, spinach and feta omlete that was yummy. We usually get a cinnamon roll to split as a breakfast appetizer; they are the best. We love the country atmosphere and the sweet staff.

Food was excellent and very affordably priced. We hadn't visited Tenino before since we moved to Yelm from Missouri. We are exploring new places to eat and new towns to visit. Tenino is a really cool old place. The cafe's service was very good and friendly. We will be back!

Love to come here for breakfast. Try the chicken fried steak it is so fabulous. The Service is phenomenal and the cook is great at what he does. Drop in sometime and the menu is great for children and adults of all ages. This place is always clean. There is parking in the front of the cafe on the street and in the rear parking lot.

Being on the main street this is easy to find, access, and exit. There's lots of parking in the back, as well as a rear entrance. The pictures and menu are accurate.Open for breakfast and lunch only. They're located in a "mall." The businesses share restroom facilities. The whole place is fully handicapped accessable. Nothing fancy here. Really enjoy having breakfast here when we are in town. Try the crispy french toast, you won't be disappointed. Cozy, atmosphere feels like your grandma's kitchen. Open early and they can get really busy on the weekends and holidays.

If I am looking to eat breakfast in Tenino, I typically come here. The food, and service always meets my expectations. If you are in town, come on in. You will be darn glad you did. I typically get the Chicken Fried Steak, or the Ham Steak.
